Due to the hard work of many individuals, the 1999/2000 National General Council was able to incorporate our association under the name CAPSI/ACEIP INC. A huge accomplishment! Becoming
incorporated protects executive and general council members from being legally liable for any contingencies which may result at various CAPSI/ACEIP INC. events in the future.
In accordance with our incorporation status, our Constitutional By-Laws and Operating Manual were ratified so they would be legally workable. Our Constitutional By-Laws are the fundamental
core of our association, it provides a panoramic perspective of the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Students and Interns.
Our Operating Manual is a more concise document which is focused on the day to day functioning of our organization.
These documents are the heart of CAPSI/ACEIP INC. Their existence will enable us as an organization to grow in a structured and balanced way in the years to
come.
